Check-in times – Cars for disabled persons – find your way

The below information tells you when you must be checked in at the port at the latest to be guaranteed a space on board SAMSØLINJEN's ferries. 

• Standard ticket for cars, motorbikes, mopeds, bicycles and foot passengers: 10 min
• Motorhome, car with trailer: 10 min
• Groups: 10 min
• Buses: 10 min
• Lorry, semitrailer and lorries with trailer: 10 min
• Trailer, passenger car w/o driver, special transport: 30 min

If you check in later, your car reservation will be cancelled. Carriage and boarding will then take place in the order in which space becomes available

Check-in times are calculated according to the scheduled departure time in the timetable. These deadlines also apply if the ferry is delayed unless otherwise specifically stated for the departure in question.

If you, as a foot passenger, find yourself in the situation that your train is delayed in relation to the departure of the last ferry to Samsø, the procedure is to contact the train conductor. If there is no conductor, contact DSB's Kontrolcenter in Roskilde and have them contact the ship's bridge directly. The line of command is as described.

SAMSØLINJEN makes it possible for cars for disabled persons to be parked close to the lift that is suitable for wheelchair users and with the best possible access to the passenger deck as far as possible.

To use this option, the ticket must be booked 48 hours before departure. First, book a general ticket for your vehicle type here. Next, please call us at +45 70 25 10 25 and state your departure and state that you would like a spot by the lift and with the best possible access to the passenger deck.

Walking-impaired persons and persons with disabilities
If you arrive at the port as a foot passenger and need help getting on board, please contact us by phone +45 70 25 10 25 at least 48 hours before your departure.

For your trip, please check in at the port at least 30 minutes before departure.

Dogs, cats and other similar pets are welcome on board SAMSØLINJEN. However, the following rules apply:

Dogs and other pets are allowed in the marked "dog areas" and at tables marked “dog tables”.

Dogs must be kept on a short lead. Other animals must be carried in a cage or pet carrier and must not be a nuisance to other passengers.

Therefore, you may want to consider leaving your pet in the car during the crossing. Just be aware that access to the vehicle deck is not permitted during the crossing.

Dogs are allowed on the outdoor sun deck.
